A mix of "White"

I apologize for not keeping my blog updated!! Here are a few pictures of some "white" pieces that we have
had in our home at different times.  Since this is "white Wednesday" I thought I would try to post some of our
white furniture items.

This is a "married" chest and mirror that I wish I still had

A "springtime" mantle arrangement

I love the contrast of the dark green walls with the stark white of the old wicker sofa.

A Touch of Christmas

Just a touch of Christmas but enough to remind you of our" Christmas Open House" which is coming up.  On Dec. 2, which is on a Thursday, we will open promptly at 10 a.m. Shown in this picture are some pillows from our bedding line and a wonderful pair of old freestanding windows that you will  love.  The windows are white on the reverse side and have wonderful wavy glass in the panes. There is another window that goes with these and any of the windows can be bought separately.  Hopefully we will have more inspirations to help you with your Christmas decorating. The house is full of surprises to help you get ready for a fun holiday.

We feel blessed to be in a business where our customers become our friends.  That is the reason we open our home during the holidays  to our "old and new" friends.  See you soon!!

Black and White

We are very slow learners!!! This is our first post where we have scanned a photo and then inserted it into our blog.  I know that sounds fairly simple to most people but to us that is a big accomplishment.

Another big accomplishment is being able to get everything ready for the upcoming Marburger Show.  We are just about ready and are really looking forward to seeing all of the wonderful displays that all of the vendors have worked on so long and hard.  Believe me there is not other place you will be able to see so much inspiration.

The photo above is of our family room when it was done completely in white with just a touch of black.  One of my favorites.  I hope you can tell a little about it. Our Christmas show is in the back of my mind.  I already have ideas on what we will be doing so just put EARLY Dec. on your calendar and I will post a date as soon as we return from Marburger.  Hope to see you there.  Tent A, Booth Aa7

Reflections

It is common knowledge that decorating styles reflect the inner feelings of a person. I have learned that it is possible, by simply viewing a shop or a room, that  you can leave knowing something about the person that decorated it without even talking to them.  I have missed some but most of the time I am pretty close. I think it is really neat to be able to express your feelings and emotions and even your passion by decorating and designing a group of items. I will give you a little hint how the picture above reflects my personality!! The reflection  showing  more than one side of the garden statue brings to my mind  how important  it is to acknowledge that all people have their own way of showing their creative abilities.
